Directions:
Near Estes Park, Colorado RMNP can be accessed from Loveland via U.S. 34 or from Boulder via US 36.
Access Restrictions And Fees:
$20 per car or $10 for pedestrians on bike, foot, or motorcycle. The National Park Service will offer the following fee free days this year: January 15-17 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday) April 16-24 (National Park Week) June 21 (First day of summer) September 24 (Public Lands Day) November 11 (Veterans Day)
Description:
Rocky Mountain National Park provides the perfect introduction to Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. RMNP boasts 359 miles of hiking trails through towering peaks, high alpine meadows, and crystal clear lakes. There are 200 backcountry campsites in the park and five drive in campgrounds.
